Devon - Plymouth Armed Forces Day

Read the details of our visit to Devon below.

Plymouth hotels were unable to take our group (at a sensible price) but we have found a very fine hotel in Paignton / Torquay where we can base ourselves and much enjoy the area driving over for 50 minutes to visit Armed Forces day - with “extras" proposed visiting the ’new look” Devonport Naval Heritage Centre  and perhaps “The Box” (see Google ) and even a River trip is on offer too.

Plymouth Armed Forces Day will take place on Plymouth Hoe on Saturday June 28th . Armed Forces Day is a great opportunity for the public to show their support for the men and women who serve in the Armed Forces community,  from those currently serving to Reservists, Veterans, and Cadets. (See Google for last year’s event) with plenty of stalls and exhibits round the site too.
